Akar Coffee Table front view showing natural teak root base and circular glass top

Akar Coffee Table [120cm]

£520.00

Akar means ‘root’ in Indonesian - and this coffee table grows from that very idea. Carved from a single reclaimed teak root, each base is shaped by hand and left true to form. Knots, curves, and hollows are preserved, not hidden - revealing the raw beauty of the wood.

Above, a round glass top floats lightly, offering a clear view of the sculptural base beneath. The contrast is intentional: grounded below, open above.

Crafted in Central Java using traditional methods, the Akar Coffee Table is both surface and statement - a natural centrepiece for living spaces.

Please note: each Akar Coffee Table is entirely unique and will not be identical to the examples shown. The overall form will be similar, but due to the natural variation of teak root, no two tables are ever the same.
