Named after the Indonesian word for “coil,” the Gelung Stool is carved from a single block of solid teak, shaped by hand to create its distinct twisted form. Each curve reveals the changing grain, with warm tones flowing across angled planes.
Equal parts sculpture and utility, Gelung works as a stool, plinth or side table. Its weight and presence bring balance, while the surface retains the honest marks of the maker.
